What is a readymade swimming pool?
A readymade swimming pool is a single-piece fibreglass pool made in our factory and delivered to your home as one finished shell. Because the whole pool is moulded in one piece, there are no joints, panels or tile grout for water to find its way through.
Readymade pools are usually installed in the ground, flush with your garden or deck, or on a terrace that a structural engineer has approved. They are different from our above-ground pools, which use an FRP structure with a membrane lining.
People choose a prefabricated swimming pool when they want a shorter build, a smooth surface that is easy to clean, and a fixed shape and size they can see before ordering.
Fibreglass swimming pool price
Our published planning rate for single-piece fibreglass pools is ₹1,800–₹3,200 per sq. ft. of water. For a 10 × 20 ft pool (200 sq. ft.) that is roughly ₹3.6–₹6.4 lakh; for a 12 × 24 ft pool (288 sq. ft.) roughly ₹5.2–₹9.2 lakh, before decking, lighting upgrades and site extras.

How our fibreglass shells are made
CreativPools makes its single-piece fibreglass shells in its own factory. Each shell is moulded as one piece on a mould, finished with a smooth gel-coat surface and checked before it leaves for your site. Because shape and depth are set by the mould, you choose from our range of designs — spa pools, rectangle pools, Roman-style pools, bean-shaped pools, endless pools with counter-current and infinity designs.
How installation works
- Site visit: we check the space, ground, access road and where the crane can stand.
- Quote and design: you receive a detailed fixed quote with 3D design within 48 hours of the survey.
- Site preparation: the pit is dug (or the terrace base levelled) and a firm, level bed is laid.
- Delivery and lifting: the shell arrives on a truck and a crane sets it into position.
- Levelling and backfill: the shell is levelled while the surrounding space is filled and the pool is filled with water at the same time, so pressure stays balanced.
- Plumbing and filtration: the filter, pump and lights are connected and tested.
- Coping, deck and handover: edges are finished, the water is balanced, and we show you how to look after the pool.
Crane and site access
A single-piece shell has to travel by road and be lifted into place, so access matters as much as the space itself. We check the width of the approach road, overhead wires, trees, compound walls and a firm spot for the crane before confirming the order.
Where a crane cannot reach, we will tell you at the survey and suggest a built-on-site option such as a vinyl liner or membrane pool instead.
A readymade pool for your terrace
A readymade pool for a terrace is a popular choice in cities because the finished shell reduces on-site wet work. It still needs a structural engineer to approve the full load of water, shell, equipment and people, plus proper waterproofing and drainage. Can I install a readymade pool for my terrace?
Yes, if a qualified structural engineer confirms the building can carry the full weight of water, shell, equipment and people. A readymade pool does not remove the need for that structural approval, waterproofing and drainage planning.
How long does installation take?
Readymade and membrane pools qualify for our 15-day build, subject to site readiness and the agreed specification. Excavation, crane access and approvals must be in place first.
What warranty do you give?
Our pools carry a 10-year structural warranty. Ask for the written warranty terms with your quote so you know exactly what is covered.
Is a prefabricated swimming pool the same as an above-ground pool?
No. A prefabricated readymade pool is a single-piece fibreglass shell, normally set in the ground or on a terrace. Our above-ground pools are a different system: an FRP structure lined with a membrane.
